October - National Bullying Prevention Month

Children are bullied every day. This fact is heartbreaking. Many students, including ourselves, have experienced bullying throughout their school years. We applaud teachers and lawmakers who've shed light on this ugly issue. Most importantly, family, friends, and organizations support and empower youths to develop healthy self-worth. If you see someone being bullied, don't be a BYSTANDER. Being a bystander is worst than being a bully. A bystander is someone who witnesses the bullying and does not stand up for the person being bullied or report it. If you are being bullied, tell a teacher or parent/guardian. Remember, it is NOT YOUR FAULT!
